CEOA SCHOOL CELEBRATES
20TH    ANNUAL DAY



CEOA School celebrated its 20th Annual day on 28th & 29th of January 2015. The celebrations on 28th was marked by rich shower of awards and rewards for the senior students particularly XII and X . The day was graced by the presence of  Mr.S.Balasubramanian, Chairman, City Union Bank as the Chief Guest.



Mrs. Nasim Banu, the Principal of Matriculation School at Officers’ Town welcomed the gathering while Mrs. Hema Audrey, the Principal of Matriculation Higher Secondary School presented the eventful Annual Report for the year 2015.
Mr. Palanivel Rajan of English Department introduced the Chief Guest to the audience with his articulate style.
The Chief Guest was honoured by Mr. Raja Climax, the Founder- Chairman & Mr E.Samy, the Chairman. Mr. B. Raja, the Chief Manager of City Union Bank Madurai was honoured by Mr.Victor Thanraj and Mr Ashokraj, the Vice Chairmen. Mr Soundarapandi, the Secretary and Mr Prakash, the Treasurer were also present on the dais.

Founder Chairman, in his rhetoric, informed the gathering that very soon the parents will have the facility of hostel for their wards near the school premises itself. He also greeted the rank hitting students who were honoured with hefty cash prizes and teachers toiled for the schools’ achievement and he was thankful to the parents for their continuous support.  The Chairman also wished the winners and teachers. 

The Chief guest, Shri S. Balasubramanian, in his speech, appreciated the rank holders of X & XII std for their achievements and greeted the school managing committee for their great effort to produce the talented Students. He reiterated the duties of students, parents and teachers to build a strong society, through thought provoking and well reached small stories. 
The Chief Guest presented the cash award of a whopping Rs. 3.5 lakhs to H. Lalitha, the FIRST RANK holder in the Madurai Revenue District in the plus 2 Examination with a score of 1186/1200 and C. Mahalaxmi the second rank holder in the school was awarded Rs. 50,000/- and the parents of all the award winning students were honoured on the stage by the Management.

11 of our students clinched the State 2nd and 3rd Ranks in the X public Examination and they were honoured with hefty rewards.  Centum scorers in the X & XII Public Examination were also awarded on the dais. 
Rain of awards did not stop there. Teachers of Class XII and X also received rewards for their achievements in their respective subjects.
 
In the Cultural programme thereafter, the students welcomed the gathering with their eye-catching Bharatha Natyam dance. Class VIII Students presented the choir Song. 

Seven Wonders of the World was brought to the stage by the students with their colourful theme performance. 

Students also performed Tamil Nadu folk dance, UV Dance (with ultra violet rays), Rain Dance and Fusion Dance etc.,
   
In commemoration of this year being observed as the Year of light, the students performed a dance that was explaining the effects and importance of light.
“Save the Water” theme reached the audience when the students depicted the importance of water through a tantalising mime show.
The cultural programme of the Annual day was a feast to the eyes which was enjoyed by the audience till the close.  
Mrs Manjula of Tamil Department thanked the gathering at the end.

REPUBLIC DAY
CELEBRATION
66th Republic day was celebrated in the School on 26th January 2015.
              Mr. K. Muthuselvam, Assistant Commissioner of Customs hoisted the National Flag.  Shri M. Raja Climax, Founder Chairman, Shri M.Victor Thanaraj and S.Ashok Raj, Vice Chairmen and Smt. Hema Audrey, Principal were also present.





The Chief Guest distributed Prizes to the winners of various competitions held in the school earlier. Students took part in the celebrations in large number. 

The Chief Guest, in his address, detailed the achievements of India after it adopted the constitution on getting independence from the British and stressed the duties of students to build a better society.

சி.இ.ஒ.ஏ பள்ளியில்
 சாலை பாதுகாப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சி


சாலை பாதுகாப்பு வாரத்தையொட்டி விழிப்புண்ர்வு நிகழ்ச்சி, 09.01.2015 தேதி அன்று சி.இ.ஒ.ஏ பள்ளி வளாகத்தில் நடைபெற்றது. ஆடல் பாடல் மற்றும் கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகள் மூலம் சாலை பாதுகாப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு மற்றும் விதிகள் விளக்கப்பட்டன. இதில் பள்ளி மாணவர்களும் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

CENEXA
A CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA
AT  C. E. O. A
CENEXA, the inter-school & intra-school cultural competitions event conducted every year by the school was held   on 22nd and 23rd of August 2014.






On the day one of the event, students from twelve schools in the city of Madurai took active part in all the competitions. The students attracted the audiences by their extraordinary performances. They showcased their latent talents in various events like Dance, singing, elocution, art etc.


The CENEXA Trophy was won by Adyappana School, Madurai. The Runner-up shield was bagged by Velammal Matric higher secondary school, Madurai.





The prizes for the day 1 events were given away by our Chief Guest Mr. Beschi, General Manager of BSNL, Virudhunagar.

 The Chief Guest was honoured by our Founder- Chairman Mr. M. Raja climax and Chairman Mr E. Samy. Vice- Chairman Mr. M.Victor Thanaraj, Secretary Mr A. Soundarapandy, Treasurer  Mr S. Ashokraj and the Chief Controller Mr J. Prakash  were also present on the occasion.


Mrs Hema Audrey, the Principal of CEOA Mat. Hr. Sec. School welcomed the gathering.
On the day 2, intra school competitions for CEOA students were conducted. Students participated with zest and fervour and displayed their talents in front of a large number of audiences.
















Mrs. Nazima Banu, Principal of CEOA Mat. School welcomed the gathering on the valedictory day. Mr. Raja, Superintend of Central Excise, Tuticorin, the Chief Guest on the occasion graced the function and distributed prizes to the winners of the day. He greeted the participants. To reach the entire audience, he spoke in Tamil. His speech was well received by the audience.

SPORTS DAY CELEBRATIONS OF  CEOA SCHOOLS - 2014-2015

          CEOA Schools celebrated their Sports Day for 2014-15 on 26th July, 2014 at the Race Course Ground, Where thousands of students and teachers gathered with fervor. The entire ground was filled with sportsmen spirit.

 The sports meet was inaugurated by Mr. G. Sankara Narayanan, District Educational officer Madurai, after hoisting the National flag.

The CEOA School Band saluted the Chief Guest followed by the school’s NCC cadets. 












The chief guest lighted the Sports Meet flame to inaugurate the competitions.
Olympic flag was hoisted by our founder Chairman Mr M.Raja Climax. School flag was hoisted by our Chairman Mr E. Samy. Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz house flags were hoisted by the Vice-Chairman Mr M.Victor Thanraj, Treasurer Mr S. Ashoakraj, Secretary Mr A. Soundarapandy and Chief Controller Mr. J.Prakash respectively.

 

  

 On the same day at 4.00 p.m, valedictory function was  held wherein Shri M. Alagirisamy, Chairman, Geethanjalee  Matric Hr.sec School, Coimbatore presided over the function and  delivered thought provoking speech for the students. He also distributed the prizes to the winners of various games on the occasion.







The principals of the CEOA schools Mrs. C. Hema Audry and Mrs Nazim Banu greeted the students on the occasion. Various cultural programmes were also performed by the students, which was a feast to the eyes of the spectators.



The Sports Day Winners were greeted by the management Committee.

Annual Day Celebrations - 2014
 
19th Annual Day of CEOA schools, Madurai for the classes upto V was celebrated on the 31st January of 2014 in our School premises at Kosakulam.     Thiru. V. Kesavan, Chairman, RV College of Engineering, Sivakasi was the Chief Guest for the function. 







Smt. C. Amuthavalli, Chief Educational officer, Madurai was the Guest of Honour on the occasion.

Smt  C. Hema Audrey, the Prinicpal of CEOA Mat. Hr.Sec School welcomed the gathering.



Our Chief Guest  Thiru. V. Kesavan exalted the achievements of CEOA at the State level and wished the students to achieve more and more having gifted with a wonderful management and dedicated team of teachers.
 
Smt. C. Amuthavalli Chief Educational officer, Madurai felicitated the school for its achievements and sensitized the students about hard work.




On the occasion, our Founder- Chairman, Thiru. Raja climax, assured the gathering that the efforts of the school towards achieving more and more heights will continue as ever and that in the coming years more students will find their ways to Government Medical Colleges and Anna University. Thiru. E. Samy , Chairman, highlighted the plans of the management to bring out more quality education at the lower levels also and assured the gathering that CEOA would fulfill the aspirations of the parents in educating their children.
 

Vice-Chairman, Thiru. M.Victor  Thanaraj,  Secretary Thiru. Soundara pandian, Treasurer, Thiru. Ashok Raj, Chief – Controller , Thiru J.Prakash  were also present on the occasion.
Smt. Nazeem Banu, Principal, CEOA Matriculation School, Officers’ town, Meenambalpuram  presented the Annual Report.
 

 Thiru. Palanivel Rajan and Thiru Ganathi Raja, Teachers introduced the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour to the gathering.  
 School Choir presented a feast to the ears with their voices synchronized perfectly to the notes of piano. 


Little wonders of CEOA showcased their latent talents  by their  dances, recitation of poems, playing of instruments, drama etc. and took the crowd to the peak of entertainment.

 Young students introduced healthy foods, fruits and vegetables to the audience in a colorful manner.




 


The kingdom of forest was brought to the stage by the little CEOA and  in Adivasi attire.



The feast to the eyes and ears went on for more than an hour which was a great entertainment to the mind and soul of the audience. Below are the highlights of the cultural program held on the day.
